Fantastic $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
Following a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. And there are multiple package options offered in this deal.
Primary Feature
The standout feature is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels
Entry Level
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.
Philanthropic Aspect
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
